Sales Associate Details:

  • Maintain an attitude consistent with our company vision and values

  • Ensure that all tasks and processes are completed per our company systems

  • Keep the store clean inside and out

  • Ensure that the presentation of the shop is consistent with our company vision and values

  • Be able to answer questions in-person or on the phone to make customers feel welcome and valued

  • Cashier duties using Peeps POS

  • Get shop ready before opening and get the shop ready for closing based on our System Action Plans (SAP)

  • Prepare items for sales floor

  • Provide polite and courteous customer service

  • Greet consignors and explain consignment process and Worthy Girl contract

  • Go through consignors’ items and select pieces for consignment that are consistent with our brand

Position Specific Standards:

  • Previous retail work experience preferred

  • Knowledge of and interest in fashion

  • Comfortable working on a PC platform

  • Comfortable problem solving, communicating and managing time

  • Ability to multitask

  • Comfortable engaging and treat customers in a polite, friendly and respectful manner

  • Present yourself in a professional manner

  • Punctuality and willingness to give extra effort

    • All business communications, whether verbal, visual or written, whether for internal or external use, will be professional in tone and content and in accordance with applicable and existing company policies and standards

    • Employees will respect each other’s time, space and need for concentration. socializing and interruptions must not impede workflow

    • Employees will have a regularly scheduled meeting with their manager

    • Employees are encouraged to recommend ideas for improvement of their department and position that are consistent with the company’s vision

    • All calls and emails will be responded to within 2 hours whenever possible and within 1 business day at the latest

    • Must be motivated, respectful, courteous and take pride in doing a good job for the sake of doing a good job

    • Ability to work independently without being micromanaged
