BOH Assistant Details:

  • Maintain an attitude consistent with our company vision and values.

  • Ensure that the back-of-house workspaces are clean, organized, and consistent with Worthy Girl standards.

  • Answer consignor/customer questions in person or on the phone in a professional, welcoming manner.

  • Identify items to be set aside for Live Sales and mannequins

  • Greet consignors, explain the consignment process, and review incoming items per Worthy Girl’s Seasonal Style Guide.

  • Select items for consignment that meet Worthy Girl’s Seasonal Style Guide reject those that do not and be able to explain the reasoning.

  • Review, research, enter, and price incoming inventory into the POS system per Worthy Girl’s pricing guidelines.

  • Print and attach price tags to newly entered items per Worthy Girl standards.

  • Send out inventory emails per Worthy Girl standards.

  • Steam and prep items for the sales floor per Worthy Girl standards.

Position Specific Standards:

  • Extensive knowledge of fashion styles and brands (low-end to high-end).

  • Strong understanding of pricing across retail, off-price retail, consignment, and resale platforms.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and item prep.

  • Ability to stay focused and productive in a busy environment.

  • Professional presentation and demeanor at all times.

    • Employees will provide staff assistance as requested; each employee may be asked from time to time to cover other areas of accountability and/or departments

    • All business communications, whether verbal, visual or written, whether for internal or external use, will be professional in tone and content and in accordance with applicable and existing company policies and standards

    • Employees will respect each other’s time, space and need for concentration. socializing and interruptions must not impede workflow

    • Employees will have a regularly scheduled meeting with their manager

    • Employees are encouraged to recommend ideas for improvement of their department and position that are consistent with the company’s vision

    • All calls and emails will be responded to within 2 hours whenever possible and within 1 business day at the latest

    • Must be motivated, respectful, courteous and take pride in doing a good job for the sake of doing a good job

    • Ability to work independently without being micromanaged
